Exploration of remontantFury (rF) - a heretofore undescribed aesthetic.
remontantFURY and ELSEWHERE.
RemontantFury - rF for short – focuses on two conditions of female-marked bodies:
ageing and being different, what the two do with each other, and exploring what kind of aesthetics could come to the fore.
What kind of X would be remontantFury?
The question was posed in 113 variations.
From the responses, an rF aesthetic is meant to emerge and become tangible. Female-socialized individuals between the ages of 15 and 80 and one cis man were selected based on their specific expertise and were invited to answer a version of the question tailored to their skillset. A head chef, for example, responded with a menu; a carpenter with a piece of furniture; a musician with a sound collage.
RemontantFury is a term coined by Stevie Bothor:
the up-rising furiosity.
The most striking activation of the rF-aesthetic occurs in the glitch of the post bleeding age - the incarnation of impermanence par excellence.
The Glitch:
An orientation momentum.
A unique opportunity.
The leaving of worn paths and a vanishing through the glitch into Elsewhere.
A parallel universe.
On 22 September 2025, Stevie stepped through the glitch and, for 648 days,

REMONTANTFURY UND ELSEWHERE.
RemontantFury – kurz rF – konzentriert sich auf zwei Zustände weiblich geprägter Körper:
Alt werden und Anderssein, wie diese beiden Zustände miteinander interagieren und welche Ästhetik dabei zum Vorschein kommen könnte.
Was für ein X wäre remontantFury?
Die Frage wurde in 113 Variationen gestellt.
Weiblich sozialisierte Personen im Alter zwischen 15 und 80 Jahren und ein cis-Mann wurden aufgrund ihrer spezifischen Fachkenntnisse ausgewählt und gebeten, eine auf ihre Fähigkeiten zugeschnittene Version der Frage zu beantworten. Eine Chefkochköchin antwortete beispielsweise mit einem Menü, eine Tischlerin mit einem Möbelstück, eine Musikerin mit einer Soundcollage.
RemontantFury ist ein von Stevie Bothor geprägter Begriff:
die aufsteigende Furiositöt.
Die auffälligste Aktivierung der rF-Ästhetik findet im Glitch des Post-Bleeding-Zeitalters statt – die Verkörperung der Vergänglichkeit schlechthin.
Der Glitch:
Ein Orientierungsmoment. Eine einzigartige Gelegenheit. Das Verlassen ausgetretener Pfade und das Verschwinden durch den Glitch ins Elsewhere. Ein Paralleluniversum.
Am 22. September 2025 trat Stevie durch den Glitch und für 648 Tage – geleitet von den Stimmen und Möglichkeiten, die Stevie in der Forschung gesammelt hat- wird Stevie alle Antworten ausprobieren um so eine subjektiv fragmentarische rF-Ästhetik verkörpern zu können.
