IT BEGAN WITH A QUESTION
A question posed to a principle and an aesthetic for which no description existed.
No longer where care defines daily life,
not yet where knowledge is passed on before one disappears.
A term flashed briefly in my mind: remontantFury (rF)
remontantFury, a perceived system error in chronology, a glitch that, understood as an aesthetic, could break the principle out of the grid of familiar time sequences.
The story goes, or so I’ve read,
that the glitch shimmers in the middle of a forest clearing.
One jump, and then:
Elsewhere.
This is where rf is at home.
The question turned out to be the key to reaching that place.
What kind of … would be remontantFury?
The question was far too big for me.
So I asked others. Again and again.
Many of the female-socialised understood.
They responded.
All from their own unique perspective.
A head chef responded with a menu.
An archaeologist with a find.
A literary critic with a genre.
Over time, the answers interwove. They gave me courage. Like mycelium, they pointed more and more strongly towards a forest clearing far from where I live.
There is a table in the story. It records when the glitch appears, but not where. The next one is on 22 September 2025. At that time, a new Elsewhere is supposed to emerge. The following Glitch February, second would open the Gates for me. Maybe it's the clearing that the mycelium of answers points to?
I have decided to follow the mycelium, wait and - if the glitch opens there- jump.
Jumping into the parallel universe Elsewhere
to meet rF there.
I keep the answers close to me, as protection, as a momentum of orientation.
The next glitch that will reopen Elsewhere is 64 weeks and 64 days later, according to the table. I trust it. The plan is, if everything works out and I end up in Elsewhere, to come back through this glitch.
During my time there, I will try to send reports. Who knows what will be received?
My language has always been different, maybe now it is different enough to come through. Maybe it will be easy. Who knows.
I’ve never been there before
ps I jumped.
